Thus, in the 2020 harvest\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003edecided, each in their vineyards, to choose\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ea special portion, representative of the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethe best that the region can produce and vinify\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eseparately in their cellars. Anselmo\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMendes selected Alvarinho from Parcela do\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePaço, in Quinta da Torre, in Monção. Mario\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSérgio harvested the Bical grapes from Vinha do\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCabeço, in Quinta das Bágeiras.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGRAPES AND WINE\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlvarinho and Bical are two excellent grape varieties,\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eadapted to temperate climates influenced\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAtlantic. Alvarinho from Quinta da Torre\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003earises in the soil of river terraces with origin\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003egranite. The Bical of Quinta das Bágeiras\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003egrows in clayey soil with strong\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003elimestone component.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe musts fermented in used barrels\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eof French oak, 400 liters in the case of\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlvarinho and 500 liters in the case of Bical.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBoth aged for 9 months in barrels. AND\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ein June 2021, Bical produced in\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBairrada traveled to Anselmo's wine cellar\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMendes, in Melgaço, where he joined the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlvarinho, in equal proportion, with the lot being\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ebottled shortly afterwards.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result?
