It was fermented in a wine press, foot-trodden, and aged in 500-liter barrels, 30% new, for 18 months. It is spicy and slightly marked by aging in new wood, with a resinous touch, notes of pine needles, and red and black fruits. It showed restrained maturation, 13.5% alcohol, and balanced acidity.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e1,800 bottles produced.
