With a background linked to science and technology, Luís Gomes decided to take a new direction in his life, to dedicate himself to one of his great passions, wine. Originating in Bairrada, between the foothills of the Serra do Buçaco and the sea, this solo project was born, in limestone soils, reminiscent of Chalk!

His work is based on the recovery of centuries-old vineyards, full of native grape varieties, where Baga, Maria Gomes and Bical predominate, planted in poor, stony soils.
The raw material here is scarce, but extremely precious.
The entire winemaking process is developed in a sustainable way, with the utmost commitment to respecting the soil and nature, promoting biodiversity. Intervention in the natural process is minimal, both in the vineyard and in the winery.
In the end we obtain wines without masks, unique, structured, elegant and complex, full of individuality and character.
