Lavradores de Feitoria (LF) is a wine company in the Douro region, with 20 estates strategically spread over the three sub-regions - Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior - which was born based on an innovative business model, with the mission of creating wines based on social, economic and environmental sustainability. In the glass, these wines have their own identity and a matrix where elegance, freshness and aging potential stand out.
Designed at the turn of the century, in 1999, and officially founded in September 2000, Lavradores de Feitoria was the result of the union of 15 "farmers", owners of 18 “Quintas” at the time, under a unique management and winemaking leadership. For the first time in Douro valley, a group of committed Douro citizens combined knowledge and experience, innovation and tradition in a joint effort that marked a new era for the Douro. They came together to share resources and create synergies in order to achieve what they could not achieve alone. Sharing and association, combined in a modern, reasonable and intelligent manner, are the values that underlie Lavradores de Feitoria. From the outset, the objective was to create wines that respected their origin, in a declared commitment to the excellence and tradition of the Douro.
