Norberto and Mónica combined their passion, vision and determination to start a new and inspiring chapter in 2020: **Vinhas de Nexe**. Located in the heart of the rural area of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, this 9-hectare. This place was born out of a desire to promote the Algarve's territory, nature and wine culture. Of this total, 4 hectares are dedicated to vineyards, carefully organised into four plots that reflect a careful choice of grape varieties and a strong connection to the region's identity. The first plot includes three red grape varieties – Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Franca and Syrah – which give structure and character to the wines produced. The second is dedicated to white grape varieties – **Arinto, Alvarinho and Sauvignon Blanc** – selected for their freshness and elegance. The third plot is reserved for the emblematic **Touriga Nacional**, one of the most noble grape varieties in Portuguese viticulture. The fourth plot, planted in **2025**, is home to **Negra Mole**, a grape variety native to the Algarve, reinforcing the project's commitment to promoting the region's traditional varieties.
