Adega da Gaveta was born from the desire to showcase the most authentic character of the Tejo: straightforward wines, true to the vineyard and made with minimal intervention. This white combines the aromatic intensity of Fernão Pires with the freshness and acidity of Arinto, creating a lively, floral and beautifully balanced blend. In the 2023 harvest, we increased the proportion of Arinto compared to 2022, enhancing the wine’s tension and freshness without losing the aromatic expression that defines the Adega da Gaveta style. This is also a wine of origin and continuity. Made from a vineyard planted in the grandfather’s time in Serra de Tomar, near the Castelo de Bode Dam, it benefits from a microclimate shaped by cool nights and higher humidity, naturally preserving the grapes’ acidity.
