Apocalipse Grande Reserva

Volte-Face Apocalipse Grande Reserva Red 2022 is the flagship wine of VolteFace – Wines of Change, a project by winemaker Teresa Metelo Dias. Born in the Alentejo, this wine stands as the revelation of a grape variety and a terroir: a very limited-production Alicante Bouschet (2,250 bottles) designed to mark a generation of great Alentejo reds. A hot, dry harvest favored low yields and highly concentrated grapes. In the vineyards selected for Apocalipse, this resulted in perfectly ripe fruit, high color intensity, and sufficient acidity to ensure freshness and long aging potential.
