Buçaco Místico Red 2017

The early 19th century marked the beginning of one of the most fascinating chapters in the history of Portuguese wine, with the launch of a wine destined to become an icon—a highly coveted label that, by design, always remained out of the limelight.

Its creator, Alexandre de Almeida, introduced the concept of combining luxury hospitality with a winery and a proprietary wine. This gave rise to the rare and historic Buçaco wines, produced at the beautiful Bussaco Palace in the hills north of Coimbra.

These wines have eschewed modern trends and possess immense aging potential, capable of remaining in the bottle for decades.
