Grão Prior

With a copper color, this wine presents aromas of spices, especially cinnamon, apricot compote, fennel, hazelnut, chocolate, and marmalade. On the palate, it is unctuous, with good acidity, with the same aromatic sensations also present, very persistent. It should be consumed chilled, at a temperature close to 13-14°C. After more than two years in the cellar, it should be consumed at a temperature of 16°C. Being a product primarily used in Eucharistic ceremonies, it can also be used outside of them, accompanying roasted chestnuts, sweet potatoes, and dried fruits or raisins and with traditional Portuguese sweets and biscuits.
