Soalheiro Espumante Bruto Rosé

Our Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine was born out of a curiosity to discover the best expression of the Touriga Nacional grape variety in our region. Known for producing full-bodied red wines in the Douro Valley, Touriga Nacional does not exhibit those same characteristics when grown in Monção and Melgaço. After some experimentation in our region, we discovered that this grape variety reveals its best potential in the form of a rosé. By blending Touriga Nacional with Alvarinho and, later, with Pinot Noir, we created a light, fresh rosé sparkling wine that beautifully expresses the essence of our region.
