Soalheiro Terramatter is a wine entirely different from the other wines in the Soalheiro family. On the one hand, it marks a return to our roots; on the other, it looks toward the future. Produced with minimal intervention in both viticulture and winemaking, Terramatter is a genuine expression of our terroir. With an intense color, expressive aroma, and complex palate, this wine reveals a strong personality and a very distinct profile, to which the early harvest and partial malolactic fermentation in chestnut barrels contribute significantly. We recommend gently swirling the wine in the bottle before serving to thoroughly mix the fine lees, thereby creating a completely different tasting experience!
