Vinho da Corda

Golden yellow, almost coppery in color; very intense on the nose, with notes of caramelized salt, somewhere between a Madeira and a Sherry—unique and distinctive, with intense iron and iodine notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and intensely concentrated, with great length. Pairs well with rich, spicy, and hearty dishes, such as octopus stew or fish stew.
