1. About us
This online store (shop.yonwine.com) is operated by Yonder Export Lda, trading as Yon Wine, NIPC 516461990, with registered office at Regia Douro Park SN, 5000-033 Vila Real, Portugal (“Yon Wine”, “we”, “us”). Contact: customer@yonwine.com · +351 939 103 011.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Subscription Cancellation Policy.

2. Legal drinking age
Our products contain alcohol. By ordering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the legal drinking and purchasing age in the country of delivery if that is higher (e.g. 21 in the United States). We may ask for proof of age. The carrier may refuse delivery if the recipient cannot prove they are of legal age, and we may cancel any order that breaches this rule. Please drink responsibly.

3. Products
We sell wines sourced directly from partner wineries in Portugal and Spain. We make every effort to describe and show products accurately. However, vintages, labels and packaging may change, and bottle images are for illustration. If a specific vintage is unavailable, we will contact you before shipping a substitute, or we will refund you.

4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include VAT where applicable. For deliveries outside the European Union, prices already include local import duties and taxes, as described in our Shipping Policy. Shipping costs are shown before you confirm your order. Payment is taken when the order is placed. We may correct obvious pricing errors. If an error affects your order, we will contact you, and you may cancel it at no cost.

5. Orders and contract
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send the order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, stock unavailability, delivery restrictions in the destination country, or failure to meet the age requirement. In any such case you will receive a full refund.

6. Delivery
Delivery times, destinations and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that importing wine is permitted in the destination country.

7. Right of withdrawal, returns and defects
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, under the conditions in our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights regarding defective or damaged products are not affected.

8. Wine Club subscriptions
Wine Club plans (Standard, Premium and Explorers) are recurring purchases. They are billed automatically at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel. Billing, skipping and cancellation are governed by our Subscription Cancellation Policy.

9. Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash and are limited to one per order unless stated otherwise. They may have an expiry date or specific conditions. We may cancel orders that use codes improperly.

10. Intellectual property
All content on this website (texts, images, logos, design) belongs to Yon Wine or its partners and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Liability
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, nor for indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, or affects your mandatory consumer rights.

12. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints can be sent to customer@yonwine.com or submitted through the electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. Consumers may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution entity, such as CNIACC – Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt). More information is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
