Collection: Hugo Mendes

The Hugo Mendes project was born from a desire to create wines with a strong Portuguese identity, using only native grape varieties and minimal intervention practices. Without owning vineyards and initially funded through crowdfunding, winemaker Hugo Mendes focuses on close partnerships with local farmers, encouraging sustainable and profitable practices. The goal is to express the terroir, respect the grapes, and balance tradition and innovation. With around 50,000 bottles produced annually in the Lisbon and Tejo regions, the project aims to establish its winery and, in the medium term, plant a vineyard that will serve as an educational and community space. A true Wine Camp dedicated to Portuguese wines and the winemakers of tomorrow.
