Collection: VADIO

Vadio is the project of Luís Patrão and Eduarda Dias. Born in Bairrada, Luís divides his time between Vadio and the Alentejo, where he worked for 13 years at Herdade do Esporão, and is currently director of oenology at Herdade de Coelheiros. Eduarda is Brazilian from Pernambuco and the granddaughter of a Beirao from Lafões. She has lived in Portugal for 11 years and runs the day-to-day running of the small family business. Luís' father, Mr. Dinis Patrão, is in charge of viticulture. Having sold agricultural products to small producers in the past, he is now the biggest enthusiast of organic production. The vineyard is his garden, and he often says: “To spend a day and not visit the vineyard is not a good day.” The family also has the support of viticulturist Hugo Melo, Luís' friend from high school, who works full-time at Luís Pato, Filipe Abreu and Dona Lurdes Silva, who masterfully carry out the vineyard and cellar work.
