Julian Reynolds Reserva Red

This garnet-hued wine exudes aromas of ripe red fruits with hints of violets and cacao. On the palate, it presents an elegant freshness, with round and full-bodied tannins, culminating in a long, persistent finish. Perfect for any occasion, it pairs splendidly with red meats, grilled fish, and spicy dishes. For optimal enjoyment, decant for 30 minutes and serve at a cool 16-18ºC. The grapes were harvested manually with small boxes in the vineyards of Herdade da Figueira de Cima, which surround the winery. After which they are cleaned. The grapes will ferment in french oak casks Seguin Moreau with controlled temperature, and a part of the aged later in barrels of French oak of the same cooperage for 24 months. The bottling has been preceded by an infiltration by territories of middle porosity and the bottles have aged at least one year before being released for sale. A versatile and inviting wine that promises to enhance any meal or store it, at least for 6 to 10 years.
