Quetzal Grande Reserva Família Red

Produced only in exceptional vintages, this wine comes from the Vinha das Pedras vineyard. The grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed, and fermented in French oak vats using natural yeasts. After fermentation, it aged for 36 months in 500-liter French oak barrels and an additional 24 months in the bottle. This process gives it an intense garnet color and aromas of dark chocolate, black cherry, and a subtle hint of oak.

On the palate, it features a firm structure and smooth tannins, with a long, balanced finish. Its fruit flavors and complexity make it an excellent choice to pair with dishes such as game meats, stews, and aged cheeses.
