The 2022 harvest went particularly well for us, with long and careful ripening, a temperate year that only got a very slight bump at the end of the harvest. This fortune allowed 2022 to provide long, slow ripenings that our vines took advantage of to present grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. If we add details such as the proximity of the winery to the vineyards, the traditional foot treading in lagares, and the resting in French oak barrels, it's easy to see why we were able to present this edition of Tiago Cabaço Vinhas Velhas.
