Collection: Herdade Canal Caveira

It is on the Alentejo coast, at the confluence of two of Portugal's great wine-growing regions, Setúbal and Alentejo, that we find Herdade Canal Caveira. Located at the foot of the Serra de Grândola, the estate is influenced by the sea of the Alentejo coast, a
land with a unique and original microclimate. It has an area of 45 hectares, of which 25 are vineyards and the rest olive, orange, cork, holm oak, strawberry and pine trees. On the side of the IC1 national road, before the stop for the famous Cozido à Portuguesa, stands the emblematic castle-shaped house, greeting those traveling towards the Algarve. The vineyards, spreading out in the sun, break between the banks of the stream and the roadside. The winery
brings us the proof. In a virtuous reality, the view from the top floor is extensively divided between the village, the mountains and the plain, while the clink of glasses stirs the smell and taste of the nectars produced here.

With its mostly sandy soils, wide temperature range and Atlantic influence, Herdade Canal Caveira produces elegant, complex and persistent wines. A perfect terroir for quality wines and demanding connoisseurs.
