Collection: Quinta de Baixo

Quinta de Baixo is Niepoort’s winery in the Bairrada region, located in Cantanhede. It has around 17 hectares of vineyards, some over 100 years old. The clay-limestone soils and the Atlantic climate help produce fresh and elegant wines with great ageing potential.
The vineyards are farmed using biodynamic methods, respecting nature and the balance between soil and vine. The main grape varieties are Baga (red) and the white Bical and Maria Gomes. Niepoort works to preserve these old vines.
