In 2004 Tiago Cabaço decided to move forward with his own project. He created his own wine, clearly showing his convictions, his personality and his way of understanding the wines of the Alentejo. With only a few harvests released, Tiago Cabaço’s wines are increasingly regarded as one of the top Alentejo wines, with many prizes and distinctions to back this up.

Tiago Cabaço Wines has received the golden hoist for the Best Alentejo wine, selected one of the best of the year by WINE – Essência do Vinho, was awarded the Excellence Prize by Revista de Vinhos, and chosen for the TOP 10 list which was tasted by a panel of reknowned journalists and opinion leaders from 11 different countries. Recently won the world's best red wine blend by the Decanter World Wine Awards 2017.

Tiago Cabaço is considered one of the most consistent wine producers with a promising future for the wines of the Alentejo. The portfolio presents a range of seductive and serious wines, faithful to the profound Alentejo character. These are the “.com Premium”, with a jovial and energetic profile, the “monovarieta ” serious and powerful, the “Vinhas Velhas” vines with plus 30 years and “blog”, simultaneously vigorous, subtle and fresh. Recently the Gerações M by Tiago Cabaço was launched. This wine is now claimed as the top of the range of Tiago Cabaço wines, produced for the first time in the history of the producer, this wine will only be produced in extraordinary years.

With access to some of the best old vines in the Alentejo, all in the proximity of the medieval town of Estremoz, and with winemaking in the hands of one of the best winemakers in the country and expanding in the international markets, Tiago Cabaço is one of the stars of the new Alentejo.
